This is atypical for a Sunday morning. It has been like this all morning. I had plans to head into Philly for brunch with my bride and checked traffic just in case. Needless to say, we're staying home and enjoying the rain from indoors.

Yeah I was like hey why are they salting my street, it's raining.... Then I saw the ice. It's supposed to be above 40 by noon so I'll just sit in front of my fire until then =)

This is the scene on I-76 outside Philly, 20+ car & truck pileup. One dead here, at least two more in a similar incident on I-476. It seems there are now multi-vehicle accidents on every major roadway in the area.

Seriously... stay home, folks.

It did catch a lot of people off guard. My mom was up here in Albany visiting from outside Philly and we checked the weather before going to bet Saturday, the forecast was for winter mix Sunday evening. Wake up Sunday morning to fatal accidents and pileups everywhere. Crazy how fast things can change.
